How Precilog collects, uses, and protects your personal data, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The data controller is Precilog, whose registered office is at 68 bis rue du Maréchal Foch, 78000 Versailles, France.
Contact: via our contact form — +33 (0)1 39 20 13 55.
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the site's forms. No data is purchased or collected without your knowledge.
The site also records plays of the demonstration videos (the product concerned and the date). If you have accepted analytics, a play may be linked to your browsing (see “Navigation and prospect tracking” below); otherwise, it remains a simple anonymous statistic.
If — and only if — you accept via the cookie banner, the site records, for each page viewed: your IP address, the page visited, the date and time, and the technical information sent by your browser (browser type, referring page if any). Purpose: to measure site traffic and understand which content interests our visitors.
This measurement is carried out by our own means, on our own hosting: no data is sent to a third-party service and no additional cookie is placed. If you decline, or until you've responded to the banner, none of this data is recorded.
If — and only if — you have accepted analytics via the cookie banner, a session identifier (stored in hashed, non-reversible form) lets us link together the pages viewed and the videos watched during a single visit. When you subsequently send us a form (contact, diagnostic, evaluation), this identifier allows that journey to be associated with your request. Purpose: to better understand your interests, manage the business relationship, and prepare a relevant conversation. Legal basis: your consent (analytics) and Precilog's legitimate interest in tracking its prospects.
This correlated navigation data is kept for 13 months, like the analytics data; the information sent via the forms follows the period stated below. If you decline analytics — or until you have responded to the banner — no correlation is performed: any requests you make are then handled without being linked to your browsing.
Processing is based, depending on the case, on your consent (voluntary submission of a form; acceptance of analytics via the cookie banner) and on Precilog's legitimate interest in responding to its prospects and clients and in securing its forms.
Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, then for 3 years from our last contact, for the purpose of managing the business relationship. After this period, it is deleted.
The analytics data (IP address and pages viewed) is kept for 13 months, in line with the CNIL's recommendation, then deleted.
Your data is intended solely for the Precilog teams handling your request. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Where applicable, as part of a product evaluation, some information may be shared with the vendor concerned (TIOBE for TiCS, Verifysoft for Testwell CTC++).
The data is hosted within the European Union. No transfer outside the EU takes place.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability of your data. You can exercise these rights via our contact form, specifying your request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr.
The use of cookies on this site is detailed in our cookie policy, where you can review your choice at any time.
