Privacy policy

How Precilog collects, uses, and protects your personal data, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is Precilog, whose registered office is at 68 bis rue du Maréchal Foch, 78000 Versailles, France.
Contact: via our contact form — +33 (0)1 39 20 13 55.

Data collected and purposes

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the site's forms. No data is purchased or collected without your knowledge.

  • Flash Diagnostic request — name, company, work email, industry, and, where applicable, the challenge described. Purpose: to prepare and organize the diagnostic conversation.
  • Contact form — name, company, phone, email, country, and message. Purpose: to respond to your request.
  • Evaluation / proof-of-concept request (Testwell CTC++, TiCS) — name, company, phone, email, country, and message. Purpose: to organize the evaluation of the product concerned.

The site also records, for internal statistics, plays of the demonstration videos (the product concerned and the date), with no data that directly identifies a person.

Analytics

If — and only if — you accept via the cookie banner, the site records, for each page viewed: your IP address, the page visited, the date and time, and the technical information sent by your browser (browser type, referring page if any). Purpose: to measure site traffic and understand which content interests our visitors.

This measurement is carried out by our own means, on our own hosting: no data is sent to a third-party service and no additional cookie is placed. If you decline, or until you've responded to the banner, none of this data is recorded.

Legal basis

Processing is based, depending on the case, on your consent (voluntary submission of a form; acceptance of analytics via the cookie banner) and on Precilog's legitimate interest in responding to its prospects and clients and in securing its forms.

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, then for 3 years from our last contact, for the purpose of managing the business relationship. After this period, it is deleted.

The analytics data (IP address and pages viewed) is kept for 13 months, in line with the CNIL's recommendation, then deleted.

Recipients

Your data is intended solely for the Precilog teams handling your request. It is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Where applicable, as part of a product evaluation, some information may be shared with the vendor concerned (TIOBE for TiCS, Verifysoft for Testwell CTC++).

Hosting and transfers outside the EU

The data is hosted within the European Union. No transfer outside the EU takes place.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability of your data. You can exercise these rights via our contact form, specifying your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr.

The use of cookies on this site is detailed in our cookie policy, where you can review your choice at any time.
