Moving from ISO 26262 to ISO 13849 involves more than a change of terminology: the safety concepts, the evaluation methods, and the evidence requirements differ fundamentally between the two standards.

This seminar explains how ASIL-based approaches translate into Performance Level (PL) concepts, and what adjustments are needed in architecture, analysis, and software development.

It is aimed at teams designing machinery or industrial equipment who come from automotive, as well as those who have to reconcile both frameworks.
