	2023 May 30 TiCS 2023.3 released! Previously, it was not entirely possible to prevent new violations from entering your code. This was the case because adding and solving a violation could cancel each other out. With this new feature, a diffing algorithm identifies whether a violation is really new. This enables you to apply true quality gating and stop the rot right now! On top of this, “Solved” violations can also be identified so you can keep track of the improvements you have made.

	2023 May 25 Julia support for TiCS Julia is a general-purpose, managed, strongly and dynamically-typed programming language with emphasis on high performance scientific computing. It is rapidly rising in popularity as indicated in this Julia newsletter. This gain in popularity can be attributed to it’s speed, dynamically typed syntax and multiple dispatch. Julia excels at certain aspects of programming in which other languages fall short. For example, Python sacrifices speed for being flexible and dynamically typed, while languages like C, C++, and Java are strictly static and rigid in order to be fast at runtime. As for Julia, the language reads like English, is entirely dynamic, and is still one of the fastest languages in history.
